The moment we hired a car, we headed first on Danao Adventure Park. It's 2 hours travel from Tagbilaran. There are lots of adventures that you can do there like water rafting, rappelling, caving, root climbing. The first adventure we tried is the Suislide and the second adventure we tried is The Plunge. We decided to go first with Suislide since it was not terrifying compared to Plunge.

I had an acrophobia before and I wanted to prove it myself that I can face and surpass this challenge. In our group, I volunteered to be the first one to try the Plunge. I was smiling but deep inside I am really nervous. So the staffs there put harness on my body and do a little briefing of do's and dont's when I will be falling and swaying. Harness are 100% secure and safe. So don't worry.

This is the moment. :D The most terrifying experience is the free fall. It seems like the falling dream I dreamed becomes reality. Take note of this, the free fall Plunge was about 70 meters! Scary, right? But at the end of free fall, you will be relaxed as it will only swing until they will pull you up slowly.

You can experience The Plunge for only Php 700.00 with certificate. You are not paying for the price but you are paying for the experience. There's also a photographer. They are selling each photo for Php 50.00.

Danao Adventure Park experience is really great. Wanted to go back there and will try other activities they offer. So visit Danao Adventure Park now and share us what you'll feel.

Suislide in Danao Adventure Park, Bohol

If you are looking for an extreme adventure then I suggest to visit Danao Adventure Park in Bohol, Philippines. Danao is a little town in Bohol which take 2 hours of travel from Tagbilaran City. In the early 2000, Danao is considered as the poorest municipality in the province but recently it grown to be Bohol's center of attraction for eco adventure activities.

In cooperatoin with the local government of Danao and non government organization, Danao offers a range of exciting extreme activities and the place known as E.A.T or Eco, Educational, Extreme Adventure Tour.

One best adventure that you should include on your list when visiting Danao in Bohol is the Suislide. It is basically a zip line activity consisting of a pulley hold on a cable mounted on an incline cliff. You can enjoy Danao's Suislide by riding on two lines, going forth and back unlike other zip lines, you only allow to ride with one line.

Some says Suislide is such a scary term as it seems to be a suicidal slide for those who are petrified with heights and I'll say yes to that somehow because I felt nervous too at the moment I tried it. But the true meaning of Suislide is that coined from the word "suis" means the sound of a cable ride once you slide on it and the word"slide" coined for simply slide.

Danao's Suislide traverses around half a kilometer from one mountain to another, taking you to less than a minute with an exhilarating and breathtaking ride. You can traverse by one or two. It can carry at least 5 tons. You can experience Suislide for only Php 350.00

Other activities you can do in Danao Adventure Park are the following:

Sky Ride - Php 250.00
Plunge Php 700.00
River Trekking 300
River Tubing 300
Wall Climbing 400
Rappelling 600
Root Climbing 400
Caving 350
Village Tour 300
Off Road Buggy 1,600

When we got there, we only tried Suislide and The Plunge since we have limited time and on a strict budget. You can read about The Plunge article here. If you got a package tour for Tagbilaran, you can ask them to include Danao in your itinerary and just add a little amount for car rate. We have affordable contact there, we only pay Php 2800.00 for car rate tour in Tagbilaran and Danao.
