White sand beaches and resorts in Philippines are very common topic specially during summer. I saw many Wave pools and other davao tourist spots flashed on televisions last summer. But this wave pool really caught my attention and we never missed the opportunity to try this first wave pool in Davao City. Since beaches are dangerous specially to kids when they are unattended, wave pools takes place. It is much safer and even you're in a pool you feel like you are swimming on a beach because of it's artificial waves.
Emars Wave Pool now takes place as the top swimming pool this summer in Davao City. Emars is a plain restaurant and hotel before and now they made it into a beautiful and soothing place.
They have two swimming pools, one big and one pool for kids. The depth isn't that good if you want to try fun diving but as the waves activated, you can no longer reach the floor level because of it's big waves. These waves are artificial and they are produced through the strong air released on the corner. It is really fun and ideal for family celebrating summer.
Aside from that, you can relax sightseeing the infinity of the beach near the rails behind the mini garden. As we all know that watching beaches can relieved stress and that is really true. Must try it.
And of course, swimming won't be fun without foods. There are cottages available for PHP500.00. The cottages are also cool. You can bring foods but should pay for the food corkage however if you don't want to bring foods then Emars have a restaurant where delicious foods are available but sad to say they are so expensive. They have wifi coffee shop, barbeque grill, KTV mini bar and souvenir shop. The entrance fee is PHP200.00 for adults and PHP150.00 for kids. I can rate the place to class A, so higher expenses should really be expected.
